In the former Long Island Railroad station at the foot of Third Street, the Maritime exhibits displayed include those on the bunker fishing industry, the oyster industry, and a mock-up of the first submarine. Sail the Seven Seas, a new exhibit at the Museum, presents meticulously hand crafted ship models replicating famous seagoing vessels of the last four centuries.
